It's all a matter of opinion and in mine, no they are not the best ever. Not even close. But they are ok.

I think that there are about five rock bands that are "the best".
Dokken is definetly one of them, Scorpions is right there too.

Yes, they rocked. No, they werent the best ever. Best rock band of all time is a personal opinion & mine happens to be VAN HALEN.

They were good. Don had an awesome voice (and an awesome ego). George Lynch was a good guitarist. But best ever, sorry, not in my opinion.
