The nicest thing today, or a lifetime? If it's today, the nicest thing someone said to me was "I'm so sorry I have to put this IV in the back of your hand. I would take the pain in your place if I could".
For my whole life, that's a lot of years. I have no idea.

Once, my friends and I were at a bar and a guy came up to us and looked me straight in the eye and said, I'm not trying to pick you up, I just want to say thank you and buy you a drink because you are the most beautiful thing I have seen all week. He bought me a drink and said his thank you and walked away. I loved it. :D

hmm there was this guy i knew who i would talk on the phone with all the time and we never met in person. when we finally did he told me he thought i was so beautiful. and like all night he kept looking at me and saying "your beautiful, you know that?" and "i always wondered what you looked like and now i can see your just so beautiful" whats so nice about it is i believed him. most of the time i dont believe it when people say it cause you can just tell when someone doesnt mean something. its like it wasnt just the right thing to say, he actually meant it too. that was the nicest thing anyones ever said about me

I did a stupid quiz b/c I was bored that said I was a Chameleon and had a diverse enough personality that I could be whatever the person I was with needed without sacrificing who I was.

My ex agreed with it enthusiastically.

That I deserved to be happy. Oh, and also, I met my partner online, and arranged to meet him for the first time in a local town. Later he said to me "I saw you coming but I thought - that can't be her. I'm not that lucky."

A complete stranger once told me that my smile brightens up a room. And he wasn't trying to pull, he just wanted me to know!
