I'am not in love with him cuz Iam not gay I'am straight. I juz want to know what others do to keep a good relationship with their bestfriends and how do they know for sure that they are really there bestfriend?

It is possible for a man to care about another man as a friend, like a brother, and not be gay.
I wouldn't think you would have to do anything to let him know that you're a best friend. Just be there when he needs you, for any little thing. To talk to, to hang out with, to help move furniture.....
He'll know what a good friend you are.

i think you know your a good friend to somebody when you trully want the best for them. They might get a better job then you or are in a very good relationship, if you are not jelous and wish for there good things to turn bad, then i think thats when you know. i also think that when you feel comfortable telling them EVERY detail about something personal and you know that theyll never throw it in your face then there you go.
if your so called best friend never tells you bad things about you (throwing something in your face that someone said so you could be mad at them or get in a fight) i think thats a good friend.
