I am selling my sporty and going to a Fatboy, has anyone made this switch? Were you glad? My sportster is a 1200xl with screaming eagle kit, so she will MOVE!! the Fatboy has a big bore kit, so it is nice too.

Switched the old lady from her sporty to a FXR,she loves it.The only issue for her is the weight (200lbs more) Backing parking etc.Get those legs in shape baby. Ride on!

Well I've owned sports and Electra glides.Big bikes are a good ride but for around town short rides the sport is perfect.Don`t say a sport is a woman's bike either.That would make a big bike a woman's bike if that were true .They ride big bikes too.The sport i have has pro race port and polished heads super E carb 2 1/4 exhaust belt drive 4 spd.Big bore screaming eagle cylinders.Pro race clutch kit.Programmable race ignition.Teflon coated pistons.cant tell you how fast it will go because speedo stops at 120.It brings the front end off the ground in 3 gears.super fast.Has race cam also. engine is set up to match beull. so i like it very well. Good smooth ride.easy to handle.I will take my sport anyday

Be prepared for for a bike that is heavier, less responsive, more difficult to handle at slow speed, but still retains a lots more ambiance than those copycat rice rockets. I own a softtail custom.

I went from a sporster to a Lowrider.You'llbe so tickled you won't know whether to $hit or go blind .Congradulatins.Evryone should make the switch
