I have this 1974 El Camino I am restoring. My door light won't come on. I have juice to the female center sect

Grounding the wire to the door switch makes the light come on. If grounding that wire doesn't work, check the light itself. The bulb may be bad. Some interior light have a multiposition switch you can set so the light does not come on when the door is opened. Check the switch at the light.
