It's best not to use chatrooms, because there are stalkers and perverts out there. But to answer your question, yes you chat and they answer. And if you're asking this, you must be too young to be on a chatroom.

You should go into a chatroom that deals with a subject you find interesting - not one of those nasty state rooms or romance rooms. Go in, say hello, and for heavens sakes, don't start out a/s/l'ing people - they will automatically iggy you. Just be nice, friendly and respectful and you should meet some decent people.

...be careful. I know you probally heard this before but I am going to say it again. I never really support chat room's for the simple fact that you teen's go in them and give personal info to strangers...Too many "weirdo's" out there.
