I'm seeing "Scarface" items at novelty shops, people wearing t-shirts, even things at the gas station. Is there some "Scarface" craze going on that I don't know about?

The Premium Edition of Scarface comes out... this just means that the sound and color is alot better than the original

i have noticed it too. you can get a clip from scareface as a ringtone on your mobile phone, and a picture of him as the wallpaper. also there is a scareface game coming out(or out already), as well as a new DVD. i don't know what the deal is, but i do know that the film is 23 years old. i thought they would do things like these around the 25th anniversary. anniveasries for special events are celebrated in a year divisible by 5.

There is. It's a type of 80's nostalgia brought on by fans of the film. The critics hated it for it's large amount of violence but fans loved it and it became a cult film.
It's enjoying a resurge in popularity now due to it being referenced in everything from video games to tv shows to movies. The film is also heavily referenced in gangsta rap as well.

You're seeing those things because sadly the character has been embraced by some members of the hip hop generation. They love the idea of being gangsta, having the money and drugs, but I don't think they remember or care that the character died in the end.

but scarface was just on television not too long ago for me.....
and celebs loves scarface!

no, but it's an awesome movie and people should never forget about it! Actually (i work at blockbuster), some new scareface special features thing came out a little while ago.
