Big East will be fine for this year and a couple of years down the road. Louisville coach has recieved a 10 year extension on his contract and he really has the ball rolling right now as well a West Virginia coach Rodriquez. Pittsburgh has started to crash the party as well that loss to Michigan St is most likely the only reason why they arent in the top 25. Rutgers not really a true surprise, had a young team last year and was successful and with tons of returning starters this year everyone pretty much expected them to do well. Here's the problem, and here's what gonna eventually get the Big East booted from the BCS. Number One: although West Virginia and Louisville can compete against major programs unfortunately these two teams do not draw large enough market value, even if Pittsburgh and Rutgers remain their winning ways it wont help.
Number 2. The very reason why Miami and the others left
the Big East, this conference does not provide a conference title game. Even the Big East does try to expand to do this, the only team that has a large market value is Notre Dame, Notre Dame not joining any conference unless this conference has the footprints Notre Dame desires. When the Big 10 expands to 12 teams and introduces its conference championship game the days of Big East being a BCS conference is over. For a while the two teams Big Ten has entertained is Syracuse and of course Notre Dame. Oh around 2008 or 2010 expect another defection from the Big East
Syracuse joining the Big 10. Im a huge WVU fan as a Big East fan and I hate saying this but I feel it's gonna somehow be the truth.

With two teams in the top 10 right now which is 1 more than:
ACC, SEC, Big 12 why are you under the impression they would lose their BCS bowl bid. Also there is a good chance Either Louisville or WV goes undefeated.

all three teams arent bad...the Scarlet Knights will get beat losing 2 maybe 3 games...the Cardinals and the Mountaineers, one will lose to the other...and probly even if they go undefeated they wont reach the national championship. they will get to a bowl, but i feel both will fall under pressure adn blow it in the orange bowl
