An adult female of 24 yrs of age kept trying to talk a 7 yr old child into eating some "popcorn." She finally convinced him to try some and it turned out it was "pupcorn", a dog treat. She had a great laugh at his embarrassment. When I found out I told the child's father. I'm convinced she will NEVER pull that stunt again. I might could understand it if it were kids fooling each other, but an ADULT?? I don't see the humor in it. If he had found humor in it I wouldn't have told the father. But the child was hurt and very embarrassed. Your thoughts, please.

If someone pulled that stunt with my child, I'd be all up their *** and would not back down. In the future if they should happen to be on the same side of the street as me and my child, they better cross the street. When it comes to my kids, I will go off on anyone that would do something like that and I don't care who that person is.

A 24 yr old woman has no business playing pranks on a 7 yr old child. That was irresponsible, and in no way, funny. I am glad you told the 7 yr olds father. I would have never believed a 24 yr old would even think of doing that to a 7 yr old. Like you mentioned, if it were kids playing , that would be differenent.

If that were my seven year old kid who was tricked into eating dog food by an adult woman, iId go a step further and call the police and take my kid to the doctor (while billing the offending adult). Also, I'd make sure that this woman never comes in contact with my child again. She's immature, a bully, and a bit sadistic.

Not all adults want to grow up. They still like practical jokes!

Now, if the adult would of been trying to puch drugs or poison on a kid, I think that would of been a more serious problem.

But dog food isn't poison. It might not taste good to the human taste buds, but it won't hurt the kid.

Do you get many laughs in life. A 7 year old will get over it. The most it might hurt, is he never likes popcorn.

That female is sick. You don't do things like that to anyone, let alone a child. Obviously this chick has some issues and medication and a straight jacket might be in order.

That is abuse. It is things like this that have a lasting effect on children, believe it or not. All it is, is an adult using their adult advantage to feel like they are powerful. No one think so? Had he did that to the adult he would have been in a lot of trouble. It's good you told his dad. THIS IS SICK!!

I agree with you. I think she did something very rude and out of line. A child's emotions are not developed that young to understand the joke. She should be ashamed of herself and good for you for sticking up for the little guy!

What a SICK AND TWISTED BI***. Can you imagine how she treats that child when nobody is looking? I hope that father dealt harshly with her over that because if he didn't i'd definately be calling someone who would. Little things like that can change a child forever. It changes who they are. I'd like to play a few jokes on that gal and see how she likes em!

You made a serious error here. You called her an adult.
Ninth graders are supposed to know better than this.
That is a move which will stay with the kid for years. Boy will he trust women who try to talk him into something next time.
