Only way they will get a shot at the National Championship, is if Michigan, Auburn or SC looses. Their schedule is redicolusly weak. They have to do what some of the big schools are doing, and that is scheduling home at home games with big time programs. OSU vs Texas, Nebraska vs SC etc... They have to improve their schedule if they want to get to be #1. They have a good team though, but it is yet unproven.

Both teams, if playing in any other conference other than the Big East (ok not any conference but the Big 12, SEC, Big 10 to name a few), would have one if not more than one loss by the end of the season. West Virginia's schedule is about as fluffly as my neighbors poodle. Their toughest game is against Louisville, though that will be exciting to see that that means WV has no reason to be undefeated at the end of the season. WV in the national championship? Do I need to make another case of why there should be a playoff system? Who woulud you rather see OSU vs. WVU or OSU vs. Louisville or a real game like OSU vs. Notre Dame or OSU vs. Florida? (For you Michigan fans go ahead and put Mich. in place of OSU in those scenarios). I dont think I need to say much more.

Depends on what happens in the other conferences. If Louisville wins out and only them and Ohio State remain undefeated they might get the National Championship invite. But if an SEC or PAC-10 team goes undefeated I think the Big East Team gets left out in the cold. (or at least sent to an alternate warm location)

Got some really good drugs, huh? Louisville at least plays some decent teams. The only way WVU's schedule could get any easier is if they start playing the local high schools.

No, not if Ohio State and Auburn win out. W.V.U plays a cupcake schedule, and Louisville really just doesn't get the national recognition.

It is possible. They will need to be perfect and have a few teams in front of them lose. Don't give up yet. Its only week 6. there is a lot left to play.

Unfortunately no. They don't have good power rankings because of their schedules.
