I agree. I look at it this way. God created man in his own image. So who is to say what exactly that image was. If he had meant to make the races different they would not be able to be together. I think everyone needs to get a life and leave the racism crap in the past where it belongs.

The same reason why there's still sexism in the world, and discrimination in general. Because many people grow up sheltered from how other people are. They learn about those people through the media or from someone elses experience, and if it's negative information your getting about those people, when you finally meet them, you treat them differently. You treat them like they are different, inferior, etc. Only simply minded people who don't care to understand other peoples lives become racist.
This happens all across the board from the obvious white hating blacks and men hating women and straights hating gays to the unpopular but just as frequent women hating men, blacks hating whites, and gays hating straights.
Most of these people don't even know they discriminate, with helps continue the wrath of discrimination.

Human beings have been racist since the beginning of time as we know it. The first homosaphiens killed off the neandorthols. Until "everyone" melts together and looks alive, there will continue to be racism. Even then, racists will target specific groups. Thats why we have laws to protect everyone.

thats what i think too. Its crazy.. and the bad part about it is that most of the pepole i see being rasist are whites.. and i am embarrsed of my nationality because of it.. but i do love my nationality. And 4 all the rasist looking at this GROW UP.. IT WAS OVER 100 YEARS AGO... oh and I wanted to day 1 more thing. My little sister is mixed with black and before she was born my grandma was rasist but when she was born she changed he opinion... alls pepole need to do is be around and experience a day in there shoes to see what theylive like. Also, its happening with more than 1 color.. pepole are rasist against there own color sometimes.. and pepole also are rasist against hipanics, muslims.. and plenty more

people are allowed to think what they want to think. this is not north korea where we all are required to think the same way, thats one of the good things about this country. why do islamicc terrorists hate us because we are all simply americans? that is the same kind of mentality. its a dumb mentality but you cant help it. blame it on brainwashing, family values, whatever you want but there are always going to be racist people no matter what...
