It's rather disgusting the way you all throw your litter on the roads and in the yard. Litter is not a pretty site nor is it healthy to the environment! You parents have an obligation to teach your children right. TEACH THEM TO PICK UP AFTER THEMSELVES ANYWHERE THEY ARE!

I agree 100%! I work at a family fun center with lots of kids, and you can't even imagine the garbage we have to pick up everyday because kids just throw their garbage everywhere, and sometimes it's not just the kids, it's the parents too.

Right ON! It always bugs me when I see people just throwing trash right out their car window or on the ground as they walk. Even little cigarette butts peeve me because those are just little bits of trash just the same! Who do they think they are and who is responsible to clean up after these dirty, ignorant people? I think they learn from their parents how to act and as parents, we have the obligation to teach our kids to have respect for their environment, others and THEMSELVES by not throwing trash around.

I don't litter anyway! But in Britain if you are caught, you can get fined up £500!!! Do you not have a similar thing in America?

I couldnt agree with you more. One of my biggest pet peeves is people who litter. It is so rude, so disrespectful. and so ignorant. It's like they have no manners and were raised in the woods. I have always taught my kids to never ever litter.

The problem you have here is that many of todays parents are as bad as their children, it is not just the kids who are anti-social and irresponsible, there are whole families of them.
