I have seen her act but I feel she is overrated because of her beauty .There are a lot of actresses that I feel is overrated just because of their looks or who they are related to. Keira Knightley is one of the actresses on the list. A lot of times when she do a serious scene, she totally seems confused on how to bring certain emotions across to the audience. She is not the worst actress that I have seen but definitely not the best either.

Kiera Knightley? An actress? That's shocking! I always thought she was just some stupid bint who has difficulty shutting her mouth. Ever noticed how it is always slightly open? What's that all about then? And another thing . . . . when she smiles her teeth seem to come out like the teeth on the alien (in 'Alien') so do I think she's over rated? She's not even rated in my book

Personally I think that now she cant be rated at all.
She hasn't reached the top of her career yet and it is a little bit illogical to judge her right now.
However she has started well and has reached all she has by herself. She has shown herself as a really talented one.
And she is much more talented then the largest part of the actresses of her age. Give her 5 years. And then you will see what will she be. Cuz she is not a "brand" actress, just as Paris Hilton is, she is the professional one.

Well.. she's getting better. But for years I just couldn't stand her. Whenever she gets angry and is acting angry, she gets very toothy and starts looking like she should be in a gate at the Kentucky Derby with a little guy on her back, all gnashing teeth and stuff.

If you've ever seen her 'act' in a film or in an interview, then clearly you'll say 'yes'.
And she's 5 years older than she claims to be, according to correspondents in my local paper. She grew up in my area, and one of her ex-classmates and her ex-head teacher both went on record to laugh at her apparent 'loss' of 5 years of age, when of course they remember exactly when she was in their school, when, and at what age.
Plus -- she lies about being dyslexic. She's not, she was just trying to sound interesting and pretend like nobody took any notice of her in school. That too is according to her ex-head teacher. So don't sue me.

Yes, I don't think that she has done enough good films yet to be hyped as much as she is.
Although, if pouting was an Olympic sport we'd win gold every time!!

I don't think she is much of an actress,but she has to be the most beautiful woman in the film world,so you can forgive her poor acting because she's the one all the guys want to be with and the one that all the girls want to be

yes and no, To me it depends on what movie, Now is POTC her acting to me is dull, But in Domino she plays the role great! She is the kick *** strong female, but where is that is the POTC? Maybe Elizabeth swann is not the best role for her to take on?
