Money, getting along with the people you work with, and a good boss are some factors. Most of the other issues you can work around but you HAVE to like what your doing. If you don't like the job you will be miseable. Getting up each morning and know that you have to go to a place or job you don't like is a very hard thing to do day after day. You can do with less money as long as you don't have a job that causes stress. The stress isn't worth the extra money.

A recent Gallup Panel poll found that American workers most often say they like when their jobs offer them a sense of fulfillment, provide opportunities to help people, and give them autonomy in how they accomplish their tasks. More immediate concerns such as pay (ranked #5), benefits (#15), and job security rank lower down the list. On the other hand, American workers' top job "dislikes" are their work schedules, pay, and office politics.
