how do you stop people always telling you stufff. i know everything about everyone but people hate it. i don't want to know it anymore. help me!

The best way to quell gossip, is when it is being presented to you, you have a few choices, you could tell the giver that you don't really want to hear it and change the subject, or you could say you don't want to hear it and walk away. Don't say to us that you don't want to hear it but yet you listen to it anyway when it's being told. Be straight up and be what you are. Once you develope a pattern of not listening and engaging in gossip, it won't ocntinue to follow you any longer,

Simply stop them when you know they are about to start telling you another gossip. Sorry, I am not interested will do the trick. Everyone will take notice when they all hear the same thing and will stop including you in the gossip.

Do what I do. When a homeless man get on a bus and start taking to me like I'm listen, I just start thinking about what is the new season of Battlestar galactica will be like. I keep my eye on them and keep saying Oh ya?! no kidding! Ya That's cool. Ya I agree

To put a stop to people spreading gossip to you simiply put them on the spot and ask "why can't we talk about something more meaningful instead of spreading pointless rumors"

When these "gossip spreaders" come at you with all of their info., just put your foot down and tell them you have no iterest in hearing about it and change the subject.

Just tell them that you want no part of any gossip or trash talking of anyone.
Once they start telling you something, just tell them that you're not interested in that bull.

you could also tell them do unto others as you would have others do unto you
if those don't work, try telling them you don't want to hear it if it isn't nice
you can always walk away, change the subject when you hear something before they really get into it
