When I refreshed I saw a screen saying Yahoo Answers was taking a coffee break. Right before that, times were missing from some answers... was I hallucinating. Is it trying to tell me to stop doing YA?

Yepper! It happened when I started about 2 months ago, when I was a rookie &, like you, I was completely befuddled! It just didn't 'compute'! There are several odd things, such as the sudden spike for best answer & then a little while later, the email will display, maybe an hour after the points are reflected in the question pages.

It happens to me about 2 times a week. I just hate it when it does that, it freaks me out big time.
I go completely nutso if I can't have my Yahoo buzz!

Not this one , but when I started, one appeared that said "Drat there is no questions here now, try again later". and it was filled with questions, moments before, I had to go to another categories before I could go back. Go figure :)

no, that never has happend to me before. i hope it won't show up again, those kinds of things r annoying, right when ur answering all the good questions.
