Did you buy it from a reputable dealer (ie; department store)? Did you pay several hundred dollars for it? If you got it super cheap or on the street, it's a fake.

There are various ways of authenticating bags. You should go to the website of the maker and find out what theirs are.

If you really want to know, then you can go to an actual Louis Vuitton, Coach or Burberry store and the employees can tell you whether it's fake or real.

the stitching is 12 to 14 stitches per inch on better bags,the chinese knock offs are usually like 8 per inch..but this is only on the older bags..the newer ones generaly have cheaper closures and pleather instead of leather..but now they are 12 to 16 stitches with cheaper materials..as a rule,if there is plastic or pleather it is a fake..burberry are 100% wool and so on..good luck!

One easy way you can find out is take it to a Customs officer at any major airport. They're trained on what to look for when trying to spot fakes because trafficking in copyright-violative goods is HUGE, especially from Asia.

Yes. In all designer bags make sure the material is thick not cheaply made. Made sure the label is spelled correctly. Make sure the seams are'nt showing in ANY designer bag. And make sure the hardware is metal if not for sure it's fake.

Yes!!! Look inside of your purse there should be a bar-code go to www.lv.com or www.coch.com and enter the barcode number... A EZer way smell the leather...hahahah

There should be a label or a tag somewhere that says made in Paris, London , New York , Los Angles or any big city really. mine says made in Paris,France.

Any name brand purse you purchase, should come with a small book, with the advertisng name.

there are so many good fakes out there these days, thats why I only purchase my purses at a trusted retailer..like neiman marcus, bloomindales, nordstroms..etc.
