I want safety first, design second. I don't care about fancy graphics or patterns. I want a quiet, well ventilated helmet that doesn't cost $450. Arai? HJC? Shoei? What about Bell?

I'm very happy with my HJC but I've never been in a crash with it.

Here's a link on where to buy the best helmet for less money.

My choice was the Vega Full face, flip up type, only $139.00 free shipping. Very quiet helmet, comes with a cloth cover also.

I have a Scorpion EXO400 - under $200, good ventilation, and very comfortable. At least for me. Keep in mind that different people have different heads and you will need to try on a few and find one that fits YOU the best. That may not be the model that fits me the best.

If you want safety, make sure the helmet is Snell approved, these are usually full face helmets and they do provide the maximum safety.

Try different Snell approved helmets until you find one that you like and find comfortable, you can find Snell approved helmets for as low as $70.00.

just by the one you like with the highest test standard & most of all the one that fits you properly ie snug remember after a few weeks it will not be as tight on your head also peoples heads are different shapes as are helmets.

how about one that fits.

Comfort is very important when it comes to this, visibility and safety are important as well. You have to find the best one for your melon.

the best advise is to try on loads...... find one that is comfy for yourself.... only you can decide that....but remember the price you spend on a helmet should be equal to how much you value your head
