I don't know. Good point, though. We have a lot of spare time, and tear others down to make ourselves feel good. I don't gossip about celebrities that much, but I must admit I have done it before. Especially about Paris Hilton!

I don't hate any of them...some I admire more then others, some I don't really respect and find somewhat talentless...
Lets face it, its fun to gossip...and it does not hurt them, because A)they will never find what a nobody like me thinks of them and
B)they wouldnt care even if the DID some how find out....

i totally agree with ur point. why waste time on someone who has done something to somebody which has got nothing to do with us :)
maybe its bcoz of jealousy.also its human's nature to talk & gossip abt others. so that's the reason they keep gossiping.
i wud advise these ppl to look at their own weakness & negative aspects. if they start doing self analysis i think they will stop gossiping. and will try to improve themselves.

They think their lives are better than ours and that they are worth more as humans. I respect the ones who chose to live quietly, not making a big deal out of every aspect of their lives.
