Yes. Excatly. The are (mostly) the party of moral hypocrisy .
"family values=not killing babies" nutjob-So Shut up,dummy.
It is NOT the governments job to determine which body is one body or two bodies. Hello?
Another example:THIS crap:
No one is surprised at the number of Democrat perverts.
But it shocks everyone if even one Republican is a pervert.
Everyone expects that kind of behavior from Democrats.
No-one? Everyone? What? Again, the hallmark of mopral hypocrisy is manipulative generalizations.
Thanks for scewing up my country, reactioanries.

Yes I'm a democrat and I believe neither party can put a claim on values. I've been reading about this Foley scandal and some congressmen want to abolish the page system because they are taken advantage of which implies that Foley isn't the only one. This reminds me of the roman empire and there politicians. I would like to see a truly through investigation of these perverts and everyone should have to resign including the ones who shield them and the next politician who opens his mouth about moral values should be dragged through the streets and publicly flogged.

Yes, they should, because the Republican party uses "family values" as a means of acquiring the votes of the ultra-conservative, religious POOR, who would otherwise be dems fiscally. Since when do Democrats not have family values? Their platform is ridiculous, and only fools the gullible. Hating/persecuting gay people, criminalizing abortions (thereby creating "unwanted" families) putting down single mothers, this is FAMILY VALUES? Not to mention covering a child predatory sex scandal for the benefit of their party...SICKENING! They should get off it, already.

Family Values is one those code words that gets used in politics. So say the Republicans have the edge on family values is joke. When comes to Family Values they ignore the issues and try to paint themselves of moral protectors of this country. When ever you start dealing with moral issues and try to be the leader you will find yourself in trouble.

When one has power, It is easy for some of them to abuse it. Neither side is free from its pull. If I offered names the lefts would just say I was excusing the right & of cource vise versa.
Our politicians should be accoutable, but 1st as individuals. 2nd look look at the party not the other way around. Yes many of us like to bask in the glow of what the group did - even when we did nothing in relation to the out come.
Personnally they need to be even more accountable for how they vote. Every "Good Idea" should be able to stand on its own. If it can't stand on its own then the people need to know why it past anyway. Both sides only want transparantcy in government when it fits their agenda.

Hey, we kick our scumbags out, the Libs celebrate theirs. That's where the family values come in.
However, it is just breaking (2:45 PM EST) that the text messages were a page prank because they knew Foley "liked" boys...They were just joking around online and the messages got picked up by Democratic operatives. Won't that be a kick in the head for the Dems if it is proven. Maybe that is why the page hired a lawyer....he knew the prank was about to get busted....hmmmmm?
I absolutely believe Foley is a creep, but I think this may very well backfire on the Dems if it is proven that this "scandal" was a political dirty trick to influence the election.

Way to generalize. No intelligent person would ever imply that all Republicans are like Foley or all Democrats are like Barney Frank, or Ted Kennedy, who have had their scandals as well but are still in office.
Anyone who breaks the law and has scandals should be out, regardless of party. This is not about politics, it is about sick people who are sexual deviants. They do not represent their entire parties.

it quite is particularly relaxing. Esp about Larry Craig in the relax room in Minneapolis. lol How about John Ensign in Nevada had sex at the same time with his marketing campaign chairman's spouse paid her $90K and remains in place of work. For Repubolicans, if the guy is a good previous boy no longer some thing else concerns. And the unusual challenge is, Republicans not in any respect get fired or renounce for his or her indiscretions. Democrats continually seem as if they sense shame and do renounce. What Laura Bush did develop into despicable yet yet another incident got here about even as she held a rally and a lady whose son died in Iraq confirmed up with a sweatshirt asking Bush, why did you kill my son, or why did my son die for you? She develop into hustled out of the auditorium and brought away. So who has morals? Republicans equate morals with sex and faith and maximum Democats equate morals with ethics i imagine. I do.

Politicians are far from perfect. They are elected to jobs that adds to their sense of entitlement. Both sides elect these idiots. Then they just sit back and do nothing but vote however someone pays them to vote. Then behave badly because they feel above the law since they are the law. Then when they get caught they have people spin it to look like they are the victims. If we quit listening to lies and made them do what we want more would get done. Instead of them voting on bills they should propose them and let us vote on them.
