When you say Our time what do you mean? I don't have Killers music. But I have a Mozart cd and a Led Zepplin cd, and I don't have a Coldplay cd. At your age, I bet you think thats the greatest however Elvis was once big in the 50's too. I'm just waiting for the next thing to come around maybe I'll like that better.

That is by far a really good question...

The Killers could be a really big band if they keep writing songs that we can relate too.

I just purchased my 'Sams Town' cd yesterday and i'm playing it right now and i can relate on a massive level.
It's all about getting involved, evolve, try agains, temptating a bit of hidden fears and everything else in between. They sure as hell didn't paint us a rainbow on this cd and I wasn't expecting it.

So as long as The Killers remain real, thank there fans and keep relating - then yes there going to be a big band, but I don't want to jinx anything...

No..But a very Good band.
Loads of good bands around at the moment, but none that are "special" and will last for years to come.
Think of the biggest band of all time, Beatles, Stones, etc, all have the ability to ignore trends and have a mixture of all kinds of music that they play and you can hear on their albums.
Best band of our time would be Coldplay and Kean.

I have my doubts about that. They are a good band but there are better bands around like the Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay so it all depends on them and what they put out there.

no way there not a bad band but to say there gonna be the biggest is way of the mark they are nowhere near the top selling band and they never will be in a couple of years time they will disapear i agree with the other chap coldplay like them or not they will take that gong

Not at all. Great band but not the biggest. I believe, like them or not, Coldplay may take that distinction.

Too soon for that. Though I agree about the Arctic Monkeys, they're just too good.

The only way they'd do that would be to eat pies for a long, long time

Uh no.
If they are not careful, they'd soon be overrated.
Being overrated kills (no pun intended) a rock band.

I think it's Oasis...define 'our time'.
