Were y'all watching the same game? Yes, it's true we Stars had a hard time in the first period with penalties (that was rough, and it's the only time the Avs actually scored - when we were down some men), but how many saves did Turco make? 36! That's right, 36 saves. And did you see his pass to score the winning goal? And that was not a lucky pass - he spotted Sydor coming out of the box, and made an amazing pass. He was on fire last night! Not to mention our rookie, Eriksson, scoring the tying goal. Whoever thinks the Stars have no chance this year must have been watching a totally different hockey game.

I did actually enjoy the home opener. And if the last nights play is any indication of the stars season you're going to be disappointed. It's hard to score goals when you killin penalties! Potential 2 on1 with a defensman laying on his face and your boys go offside?????????? Wow!!!! Would have liked to be a fly on the wall in that dressing room last night. It's good that you still have hope though!

Dude the stars suck monkey butt. they sucked the 1st two periods, the avs kivked their @$$ and you know it. they got lucky on the break away, seriously what was the chance that pass was goin to hit sydor right as he left the box. stars will make the playoffs and then tuco will choke like he always does. the avs rookies will lead the team along with super joe. GO AVS! RED WINGS SUCK!

I don't know what you're so proud about, I watched the game and the Stars sucked. Its just that the Avs were a little bit worse. You're both going to wilt when it comes time to go to California or Alberta.

You should thank god the people in Denver did not leave the calanders from the playoffs last year up. If Turco would have seen the month June instead of October he would get softer than a grahm cracker in milk. or a scott stevens hit on Mr. 88
