how do you feel about corporate involvement in public education?
why? what possible conflicts of interest or ethical questions do you see arising in relation to the following kinds of school collaboration:
- sponsorship of sports teams and clubs
- exclusive contrasts for soda and snack vending machines
-fast food franchise " food courts"
- sponsorship of librarires, computer labs
- commercila instruction via cable TV
-free books with inserted advertising
- free courses on history or economics with bussiness content
-volonteer " teachers" and tutors from corporate ranks

Corporate sponsorship is not worth it. It does more to line the pockets of corrupt school officials than it does students. A free market society does not need the corporate attention-whorishness that goes on today.

Anything to help educate our children. The government sure enough seems to be having a hard time paying for it. To many political holiday trips taken out of the budget. Our school has had all art, music and language programs stripped from it, and the computers are all 10 to15 years old. If they can improve things, them bring them on!!

there are pros and cons to each subject and i'm not going to take the time.
