he's in the army and right now we're on a break. He told me to live my life and not wait for him. But i'm going to wait for him. Will he be mad that i'm going to wait for him?

That remains to be seen hunny, if you wait and he notices and is happy then you did good, but what if what you are saying is that he might be looking elsewhere and you don't know and still wait only to find out you wasted your time? Then what? Just be honest and ask him if he is also going to see other people and if that is why he is telling you this? Good Luck !!!

Sweetie you have a guy who told you not to wait for him. It doesn't get any more truthful than that. What he meant is he is not going to wait for you. When guys travel in the military, they are total dogs, they are surrounded by hundreds of guys so when a girl does come along they are sure going to go for it. He told you the truth and you should be happy about that. You will only be mad at yourself if you wait for something that isn't going to happen.

wow what a great guy. Not too many guys would do this. What a catch. If you dont' wait for this guy you deserve all the bad karma in the world. He's a keeper and you should be proud to have a guy with such good character and sensitivity.

He won't be mad at all. He wants you but he unselfishly didn't want you to think you had to wait for him. If you do wait, he'll be the happiest man on earth. Good luck and God speed to him.

He is probably on his break out there and not worrying whether you'll be mad at him for not waiting.
When a guy says that to you, he wants his personal freedom to do what he wants wherever he is ...without feeling guilty or ashamed of cheating. Now, that's honorable, isn't it?
Now go live and celebrate your life...it'll pass you by if you wait.

I dont think he'll be mad BUT you're setting urself up for a huuugeee heartbreak because any man who tells you to go live your life and not wait for him means that he wants to move on and he wants you to do the same. If he tells you that do just that - move on and live ur life. You love him ut remember this if he comes back to you then it was meant to be if he doesn't then oh well...u learned a lesson!

He told you not to wait for him because he has already moved on.

No, he'll know he met the right girl. He probably just said that because he was afraid you might do something behind his back. (Why would you think he would be mad? I don't think he'd say, "Gee honey, why didn't you let other guys mull you?") -C'mon.

no. I think it is a test to see how much you care about him , and he may not want you to get hurt if something does happen. Look what you wrote- break not break up.
