A better job at what? Just running the country in general, or the war? As a military veteran and decorated war hero in VietNam, he obviously knows more about the military than does someone who was in the Air National Guard and who went AWOL. He wouldn't have squandered the massive budget surplus left by the Clinton administration. He would have looked after the Katrina victims instead of making them go through all the crapola they've had to go through at the hands of Bush and company. Kids would be learning something in school other than just how to take a standardized test which seems to be all they know how to do when they get out. Since he's capable of speaking correctly, he wouldn't have made the country the laughingstock of the world presided over by a functional illiterate who calls himself "the decider" (sounds like some kind of bad superhero) and who can't pronounce "nuclear" correctly. Shall I go on or is this enough?

SNL did a great job of spoofing both candidates during the last Pres. election, particularly on Kerry. In response to the war on terrorism, "I'm for it! No wait, I'm against it! On second, thought I'm for it. No, I'm, I'm....ForGainst it." Kerry was one of the most wishy washy, indecisive candidates that I had seen in quite some time. And if a candidate can't even decide on a campaign theme, what the hell makes anyone think that he could decide on policies to run a country on? I may not agree with everything Bush has done, be I thoroughly believe he has done an incredible job compared to what his competition could've done. And as far as gas prices go, I'd rather pay $15.00 a gallon for gas than blow a queer for a gallon...and that's exactly were we'd be at if Kerry got office.

I don't know how you could come to a conclusion one way or the other. He doesn't have the job, neither does Al Gore. Thus, it is useless to even consider what kind of job they would have done. Why can't people let go a little bit of the past and look to the future.

If a different leader is what you want, then vote for one in the next election...which your going to have to do anyway because President Bush is term-limited. If you can't wait another two years, vote for your choice of Congressman/woman and Senator. Vote for the one you think will try to make a difference, even though none of them do, because they are all part of their political party. Its strategies supercede anything they might want to get done. And of course political party strategies only go as far as attempting to keep them in power. So I bid you all good luck.

Better than Bush? A venus flytrap would've done a better job than Bush. Come on now. I'm not any kind of giant Kerry fan, but THINK about what you're asking. I just can't believe the lingering hatred GOP voters have for Kerry in the wake of BushCo. Get some perspective.

I don't know, but I plan to vote for John McCain in 2008. McCain should have been President in 2000, and would have done a better job that Bush. That's my opinion, and I am sticking with it.

No one knows. I am a Democrat, but really no one knows for sure. Honestly speaking though, I'm not sure if any other president would have made as many mistakes as the Bush Administration has, whether it be another Republican or Democrat president.

It's unlikely that he would have done much differently, because of too many IOU'S to get elected Senator, but Howard Dean would have done things much different.
