... and no offence meant to you Pittsburghians (or is that Pittsburghers?) we don't really want to steal your team we're just dreaming a bit here. We've already had two of our teams stolen and millions of hearts were broken so we wouldn't really want to do the same. Would we?

Having lived in Edmonton during the 70's(WHA days) and 80's (Gretzky years) and now residing in the Maritimes I would love to see Halifax get a team. I hope the Pens stay where they are but the east coast of Canada can support a NHL team, if they built the arena in Truro area, then the worst anyone from 3 provinces would have to drive to attend a game would be about 5-6 hours. Any millionaires looking for a hockey market need look no further.

It is Pittsburghers and I'm not offended because you worded it to be as a for fun thing, not a you want them to move so much. I think what it comes down to is most of us Pens fans are getting tired of hearing about it. Espically since most seem to act like it is we don't support our team or something, instead of it is a team that needs a new Arena in a city that is bankrupt. Anyway as to the question all signs point to they would be moving to Kansas City so even further reason not to be offended, unless K.C. moves to Canada. I'd say move them to Quebec or something though.

I agree with kheserthorpe. Why can't Toronto have two teams? We're Canada's team, so we should have two teams. I think Winnipeg and Quebec should get their teams back too. Why does USA have 24 teams and Canada only has 6 teams??? It's CANADA's game; we should have more teams in Canada. It's not fair that the Americans can steal our teams just because they have more money. And Gary Bettman's American. We should get a new comissioner. I nominate Wayne Gretzky.

They shouldn't move period.
The US has more teams than Canada, because up until recently the dollar was stronger. And since the teams were paying their players in US dollars, the Canadian teams couldn't compete.

I feel disappointed, (but then I am from the UK).
I read your question in fascination and wanted to join in the fun.
Then I realised you weren't asking,
"... which Canadian city would penguins move to...?"
Cultural misconceptions, I guess, but feel a tad misled by,
"They are not likely to be moving soon..."
