I had a dream I was married to Tom Welling. The thing is, me and my husband have been watching a lot of old episodes of Smallville lately so I'm thinking it's probably related to that. Should I tell my husband or should I just let it be? Because, it's just a dream, right?

Okay it wasn't THAT kind of dream! LOL! I had fallen asleep after watching Smallville and I was sort of in the show, and just happened to be married to him. I gotta admit though, it was a pretty cool dream.

I don't see the point in telling him. It's just a dream-you can't control your dreams so there's nothing to talk about.

My boyfriend and I are open about stuff like that. We don't consider celebrity crushes to be real or anything worth getting upset about. We have a joke between us. I always refer to his favorite actresses as his girlfriend. I'll be like "oh look, your girfriend is on the cover" or something like that and vice versa. We find it funny.

If I told my husband something like that, he would prob laugh at me. I mean seriously...what are the chances of you actually meeting Mr Superman and on top of that, marrying him? It was a dream, and you've been watching the show a lot. I've done that, watched something on tv before bed and then dreamed about it in some way, shape or form.
If he is a guy that can take a joke then tell him and have a good laugh over it. Ask him, who he dreams about. Maybe you guys can do some roll playing to spice things up.
But if he is a man that is super over-protective, very self conscience or stressed out at the moment, I would say to blab to your girlfriends about it, but other than that, don't tell him. It will just stir things up in a negative way.

I think you should tell him and if he has any sense of humor he would probably laugh it off!! but he should be "grown up" enough to realize that it would never happen for an average joe like me or you!! Besides i'm sure he has had one or more dreams about a woman a celebrity or an average joe!! every one has had a dream or two that they were in some type of a relationship with another person!! dont feel bad!!

i hope i helped

Just let it be. My ex use to get really upset with me for cheating on her... in her dreams! For days she would treat me as if it had actually happened in reality, even though I had never cheated on her. Therefore imagine how much more upsetting it would have been to her, if I had been having dreams of other women.

In other words; why take the chance of upsetting him even slightly? I mean, he might wonder what that guy has that he doesn't, and begin worrying about other things that attract you to other guys, that are not qualities he possesses. Thus keep it your little secret, and if you must reveal it, make it a dream about your husband, instead of that other guy.

It's just a dream, why will you want to tell your husband? Not like you want to be with Tom Welling.

My wife tells me about her secret fantasies of being married to TV celebreties. Personally, I think she watches too much TV! Anyway, big deal... I think it's kind of fun to hear her fantasies and I don't take it seriously.

I love Smallville, by the way. But, in answer to your question, I say that if you and your husband are used to sharing your fantasies with each other, I doubt there is any harm in telling him. If you are not used to sharing your fantasies, maybe you should! I think it's quite a turn-on...!

Nnnnnnope. Okay - you should feel like you can talk to your spouse about anything and everything, but if you honestly think it'll bother him - I wouldn't do it. If you don't think it'll cause a problem, then go for it, have a good laugh. Might give y'all a chance to get to know some more things about each other - like a truth or dare game "Tell me something I don't know about you" ..... hell, I don't know, I'm just rambeling and probably not making much sense.

There is no reason to tell your husband this! It does have something to do with watching all the old episodes!

If he's constantly in your dreams, then your watching to damn much tv. :-) OR your brain isn't getting the REMS it needs for your to sleep right.
