what do you think about the typical classroom, the quality of the average of school library, and the general ability of American teachers and the staff who support them?

The typical classrooms are over crowded. There never seems to be enough money to build bigger and better schools when needed. The libraries are okay
but they are regulated as to what kind of books can be made available to the students. The American teachers are slowly becoming a dying breed. Since
this field doesn't pay well many young people are
getting degrees in other fields. The teacher is over
worked and under paid. They have to deal with students who bring a ton of emotional baggage with them. They have to fill out and document so much
that they don't have enough time to teach. Plus there is so much pressure on the teachers now to
produce educated students that the teachers are
burning out at much higher numbers. Lastly, teachers
no longer get the respect they deserve from the students, parents, school administration, the community or the government. America needs to get behind and support the educational system in order
for it to become more effective.

I'm a highschool student who came to a public high school from a private middle school. In private school the teachers were nicer, the rooms cleaner, and the food better.

our school is newer, so it's a lot nicer than a lot of the other schools in the area. ive heard from people who go to those schools, that they look like jails, or the people in the school are bad, including teachers and administrators. but overall, most schools in our area are pretty good.
