I've been sick all week long and today I have chest pain. Both my mom and dad are at work and I've tryed both of them and havne't gotten the chance to tell them. My mom gets off work at 3 so she should be home in 1 and 1-2 hours. What should i do about my chest pain? Should i just wait it out until my mom gets home? And is there any thing that can reduce the pain?

depends on ur age... u could have broncitits u should seek a doctor, have ur mom take u asap.... feel better...

If you have had a cough then chest pain need not be alarming.
Again, if coughing is part of the problem, try a hot steamy shower, this can help loosen phlem.
If you are coughing but not bringing up any phlem, you may need help, Mucinex is one over the counter med that could help you with this. Consider calling Mom and asking her to bring you some medications.
Begin by listing your symptoms.
A lot of hospitals offer an Ask a Nurse phone line. It is worth checking out.

It does sound like bronchitis...I hate when that happens. Don't worry TOO much but I think you probably do need to see a doctor. If it's an infection, you might need antibiotics to clear it up. Only a doctor can diagnose you though. Don't expect the answer here, and don't take any prescriptions that weren't specifically filled for this particular illness. That would only disguise whatever's going on now.

Depends, have you been snezzing and coughing a lot? If so it may be your sore. When I sneez or cough a lot that happens to me, if it lasts more than a couple days have a doc. check it out.

try to ignore it and and don't take pills cuz it just dirty's your system
you should call them up becasue your parents really need to know this
