What's your first thoughts when you see a metal-head or a rocker with his long hair, leather jacket, maybe piercings or tatoos or listening to death metal songs?????

I am a metalhead too, complete with long hair and tattoos. I work in a clothing store that sells high end suits and really preppy clothes in Palm Beach, Florida. I have learned that people do judge you based on first impressions, especially in the atmosphere I'm in, BUT, once people realize that I'm a normal dude who is very polite and courteous towards them, they are extremely cool. Everyone tells me that I don't look the part of the preppy retail clerk and I tell them that I'm not a preppy retail clerk, I'm just me. Being a metalhead doesn't mean that you have to bring your heavy metal attitude with you everywhere you go. People expect you to act like an asshole based on your look, blow their mind by shattering their pre-conceived notion of you.

Metal head will always be here...We are the best type of people out there......Rappers shot themselves and drug themselves.......Country people don't understand our language....they want simple words like " the " "a" and Beer".....
we give the world Whiplash with our resounding vocals, high pitched guitar solos and thunderous drums....
I wanna see a Metal Head in the whitehous not a person who listens to John Tesh or Micheal Bolton.

I wonder why people try REALLY hard to look that way. Why not just like the music and be done with it, why all the other effort? I guess maybe metal-head chicks like scary looking metal-head dudes and vice versa.
