After a long hiatus from (very amateur) performing, I'm thinking about applying for auditions again. Many of the audition listings refer to an H/R. What is this? Thanks!

It means you need a Head Shot / Resume

Usually Human Resources but in your case might be History and Resume...History=specific experience related to Theatre, Resume = all other experience/ jobs unrelated.

Unless you get definitive answer here or can't locate on net under google search...contact group and ask

Ah ha, yes, hourly rate as stated above, could be that too...depends on how it is being used in the ad, that should tell you as well. Good answer above

Could be Hourly rate but there is nothing in Wikepedia on it. How be if you ask someone in the Performing industry - like call an agent.

HR is Human Resources- they used to call it Personnel. This is the department where you would send your resume, and go for interviews, and the like. Good luck!
