because our natural resources (paper comes from trees) are significantly diminished of late - the more we can recycle the less we need to chop down more trees. (trees are important, btw)

Because paper is biodegradable and plastic is not.. Plastic contines to add to the ever-growing pollution problem, whereas paper can be either recycled or broken down.

Our landfills are at critical levels with non-biodegradable product. Plastic is the worse culprit. It is a petroleum based product. Paper will naturally recycle back into the environment.

paper is more biodegradeable. Paper needs to be recycled to keep the forrests from being depleted. 90% of the oxygen we breathe is provided by the trees.

its important to recycle paper, because they have to kill trees to make paper so if u recycle the paper its like saving a tree!!!

Paper is better than plastic because paper will decompose much faster then plastic, also it is very use full. use as book covers and in gardens to prevent weeds, use to make arts and crafts.. paper rocks!
