Get a network print server like this one: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Product_C2&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1115416837563&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper

They connect directly to your printer and then to your network and it can be shared with as many computers as you have on your network. You can find these wired print servers for about $40 to $50.

if you have a router with a print server you just connect your printer to your router.

BUT, chnaces are you don't and so you can use windows networking to share a printer with the network.

your printer must be connected to one of the computers and installed....then go to control panel-> printers and faxes, then right click onto the printer that you would like to share, select "sharing..."., then click share this printer and chnage the printer name if necessary. DONE!

on all other computers you can access the printer bia my network places and view workgroup computer.

printers being shared should appear in printer lists in programs.

note you have to have the computer which is connected to the printer on in order to use that printer.
