Depends on what you are thinking of. You can't and shouldn't force people into doing something they probably don't want to do. You can try tempting him with something desirable as a reward for being brave.

Depends on what you want him to do! In bed wait til you are both feeling good and suggest it to him in a seductive whisper and then gently guide him through it.
Or if not in bed and you want him to buy you something take him to the shop and then let him know how much you like it!!

If he doesn't want to do something then no matter how much bribery and insistence you use he will not do it. You can try by telling him that you will do whatever it is you what him to do with him so you can show him there is nothing to it, but I'm afraid that he will just dig his heels in and have none of it.

Depends on what it is. Is it good, is it right, who will it benefit? Just be encouraging and available, if it is in fact the right thing to do.

Tell him that you'll be with him every step of the way, and that you're going to have his back no matter what happens :)

Tell him you love him and you believe in him.

Be encouraging :)

Since you do not elaborate as to what you want him to do I can't give a real answer. However it may not be bravery that holds him back, maybe it is intelligence or morality. It does not require bravery to do something stupid or immoral.
