There are many things we can't live without. There is no one most important thing.
Not everything can be ranked, with one, unique, best whatever. In fact, hardly anything can.

Hmmm...
I'm gonna go against the masses here and say my skin and or internal organs. Without my skin everything inside me would spill onto the floor and I would be a gonna before you can say 'Eww look at the nasty inside out lady'... The internal organs kinda keep me going too... That whole no heart thing could be a real problem.
I know people say air but I could last a couple of minutes without that... Water, food etc I could maybe go a couple of days... Skin and organs I couldn't live without for even seconds.
This is of course a practical answer and also the truth. I may say that I can't live without the people that I love but in truth I have lost loved ones and hard as it is I am still here. An emotional answer may make for more interesting reading but from my perspective it just wouldn't be true.
