Yes! There are MANY ways a baby Ball Python can kill a child:

A child can accidentally swallow it and choke on the snake.

If a child is playing near a flight of stairs, he can potentially trip over a wandering Ball Python and fall down the stairs.

The snake can potentially knock over an electric appliance into the water of a bathing child.

I'm sure there are more ways that I haven't thought of...

However, there is NO possible way that a Baby Ball python could kill a child on its own. Even a full grown Ball Python might have the potential to kill a child, but so does a Chihuaua. It's just not going to happen.

FYI... There has never even been a reported incident of a Boa Constrictor killing a person in the U.S., and they have quite a bit more killing potential than a Ball.

Whoever said that pythons are poisonous as babies is WRONG! Whoever said that ball pythons can grow to be dangerous is also WRONG!

The only way a ball python is "poisonous" is through salmonella poisoning, which can be completely avoided if you wash your hands right away after you touch your snake or snake enclosure.

Ball pythons are docile creatures. I have owned many of this type of snake and have never had a "dangerous" encounter with them. They are peaceful, shy, and will avoid any type of confrontation as much as possible. Even their nickname, "ball python" (their official breed name is "royal python") is because they often roll into a tight ball, tucking their heads in the middle, whenever they get scared.

You shouldn't be afraid of these snakes. They are a joy to have and will be a pleasure, assuming that they are well taken care of. However, as I mentioned in your previous question, you should NEVER leave a snake alone with a child. I'm more frightened by what your child may inadvertently do to the snake rather than vice versa!

No, a baby ball python cannot kill a child. While they are constrictors, they aren't strong enough to be able to cause serious harm. A full-grown ball python is about 5-6 feet long. At that point they are considerably stronger, but remember that ball pythons do not attack people. Most constrictors (pythons, boa constrictors, etc) only kill to eat and they don't go after things that are too large for them to eat. To judge what a snake might eat, look at the largest part of their body. They can eat something that is approximately the same size as their girth. A ball python will, at its largest, usually only be able to eat a small rat.

No, but a child may kill a baby ball python. Just supervise the child when handling the snake.

No, not even a full grown can kill a child. I more worried about the python, they're very small.

No, a newly hatched BABY ball python cannot kill a child. You must remember, however, that these animals do eventually grow and eventually will become dangerous.

No they are not poisonous ever and yes some do eat larger than large mice. I didn't look to see if you are the same person that asked that same question a couple of weeks ago but if you are its good to be investigating it. I personally love snakes. My grandson and I have two of them. You didn't say how old your child is

Pythons are contrictors but I think as a bay they are poisonous. So the answer is Do let you baby play with snake or have them around a kid in the first place and you wont have to worry about it.
