Eat five or six small meals a day. Lots of veggies. Some fruit and no breads or pastas. Eat mostly chicken(grilled not fried) When you eat the meals make them small. The meat should be about 3 ounces per meal. This is very safe because it is not a diet just a good way to eat. Also walk everywhere. Park at the back of parking lots at stores and work and walk to the door. Walk up stairs instead of elevators. Ride bikes. But most of all don't worry about it. You will look good to your husband no matter what so relax and enjoy. Congrats on your upcoming marriage and good luck.

30 lbs. is a lot to lose. And 5 months will sneak up on you before you know it. I'm just gussing here, but if you already bought your dress and had it altered, the 30 lbs. you want to lose will show in how your dress fits. That's just something to keep in mind while you're slimming down. good luck.

Get a membership to a gym.

I lost about 35 pounds in two months.
I got a membership to 24hour fitness. Went every day for about two weeks, then went every other day for the six.....and the weight came off.

I did thirty minutes on the treadmill walking, then did weight training until I used all the machines for that particular area (one day I would do upper body, then next day I did lower body but I always started on the treadmill or stair climber machine and did weights)

That and eliminating all bad carbs. I ate proteins, and salads. No starches (potatoes) No pastas....no fruit juices......
be healthy.

It is a commitment, and is inconvenient at times....but it WORKS.

Good luck, and congrats!!!!!!

Start a cardio routine. In 2 weeks or so you will be in the habit. Try yoga and pilates as well. Alternate days and take one day off. Change your eating habits instead of 3 meals a day have 6 minis(but watch the calorie and fat intake). Most of all Congradulations

Cut out bread, pasta, potatoes, soda...those are added starches and sugar that none of us need, ever......you'll drop weight very quickly. Eat broccoli, green beans, zucchini, etc with 5oz. chix breast. Eat those veggies til you're satisfied.......and water, water, water.....all day long! Good Luck.

Diet and exercise, drink lots of water, and exercise some more. Watch "The Biggest Loser" for inspiration.
