I tend to agree that HL2 had more to offer overall, but why did I want to play Doom 3 again, whereas with hl2 I felt I was "done?" I don't know if that means it's better, but for some reason I guess I was more into doom. I think for me the atmosphere and intensity of the experience is more important than how complex or advanced the technology and level design is.

Both we're great games but, Doom3 made me scared...VERY scared. Halflife2 didn't really make me feel like that, Doom3 just about pipped it to the post I reckon.
But...maybe not I can't decide myself really.

I loved HL2. I think it was way better than Doom3. HL2 was very involved, with a great story line. It had so many different things to do, like riding all kinds of vehicles while killing the baddies.
Doom3 was boring for me. Sure it looked good (graphics) but most of the time it was too dark to enjoy. The only thing cool about Doom3 was the "creepy" factor. Other than that, HL2 was much much more fun, and when I beat it, I wanted to immediately play it again, which is rare for me.

HL2. Doom3 is just like Doom 2 and Doom: boring.

without a doubt Half Life 2, Better engine, better story line, and just alot more that you can do vs. Doom 3, Doom 3 is too restricted.

I pesonally would say Doom 3 is much better than HL 2

nicely, no video games as we communicate could paintings on your laptop, no offense! yet heavily, the two improve or get an more desirable laptop. Reccomendations: Dell has a Create a working laptop or laptop software that facilitates absolutely everyone make there own laptop for their desires... or try laptop considered necessary & ask for "Steves particular"...

And I like the single player campaign of Warcraft 3 (RoC and TFT) - story line - 360 view of it, not-the-usual ending scenario, graphics, the adventure that the story sucks you in, the everything! :)))
