You don't have to unplug it, just be careful when you'r pulling it forward. Try not to trip on the plug and accidently unplug it and most importantly, if you have an old fridge, try not to get caught on the coils at the back. Some are painful if they get you.

Whether you unplug it or not depends on how far out you will pull it. Nothing will get warm in a short time of cleaning under it.
Pull straight out; that's how mine is supposed to be, or else risk digging in the flooring and ruining it.

go ahead and unplug it. a refrigerator's' compressor cycles every so often(like 30 min. to an hour) while you got it pulled out, wipe down the coil(the small tubes that criss-cross on the whole back of the fridge.)

It's not a bad idea to unplug it, if there is a short in your electricity anywhere, you could get shocked. Especially if you are going to mop the floor before you put it back in place.

Yes, just pull out, leaving plugged in and sweep and mop.
Don't forget to wipe down the back of fridge as it gets dusty.

That's the best way. You can try a swiffer or something like that but your fridge might be too low.
