I have a 9 year old niece, and her birthday is coming up. Is this album suitable, or is it a bit too raunchy?

NO!! they talk about being loose and raw and having guys take off their clothes! absolutely not

I really think this is a better question for her mother. You should ask her Mom if she thinks it is to old for her. I know I wouldn't want my 9 year old listening to it. If you are trying to think of some good CD's for a 9 year old, my I suggest - Aly & AJ, the soundrack to High School Musical, the soundtrack to either of the Cheetah Girls movies (#2 just came out), Lizzie McGuire, JoJo or anything from the Disney Channel. My youngest turned 9 back in April. I got her the soundtrack to High School musical and that ended up being her favorite.

Okay I too have a nine year old niece and if that's the type of music she listens to her and her parent's don't mind then by all means get the CD for her. But if her parents don't want her listening to that type of music then don't buy it for her. My niece listens to a lot of the pop music and in this day in age a lot of it isn't suitable but that's what their friends are listening to. But if your not sure ask the parents they are the only ones that can tell you if its acceptable or not.

I'm 24 years old and Even I tend to turn the volume down during certain songs...I wouldnt recommend it. At 9 years old...maybe hillary duff..... those cheetah girls...stuff like that

I definitely wouldn't give a nine year old that CD. She is way too young to listen to some of the stuff they sing.

Probably not, I like their songs but they talk a lot about sex , they may not sing bad words, but they still talk about a lot of innapropriate things, if I were you, get them Jesse McCartney's new album "Right Were You Want Me", preview the album on iTunes if u like!

Heck no. The lyrics talk about sex, and other stuff that 9 year olds shouldn't be listening to, and they dress like a bunch of sluts, or prositutes. I would never let my daughter dress like that. It screams "rape me"
