I live in Las Vegas and lately alot of bands have gotton contracts such as Panic at the Disco! and The Killers....is it a good idea to make a band that has no talent like those bands just to make some quick money and a couple of VMA's?

Why not, you will never know until you have gave it a try. Today people listen to all kinds of music, reather is good or not. You have nothing to lose. Maybe oneday you will have a top of the chart record. Go for it, never give up on your dreams or you will have no dream to give up on.

No time like the present. At one time I was considered a virtuoso yet I watched acts with considerably less talent and discipline succeed while my music career never made it out of the club circuit. Yeah, go for it...best of luck...cheers!

Yes, any time is good, but only if someone will market you guys. But in case of failure you'll waste a lot of time with no result. If you don't believe in your product yourself, it will be difficult to convince anyone else. If you think your band in not any good - don't waste your time. Start a good one instead.

Well, U2 couldn't even play their instruments when they started. Each member just picked what instrument they wanted to play. The rest is history.

Chicken noodle soup... chicken noodle soup... chicken noodle soup, with a soda on the side.
SUCH NONSENSE on the radio now! I don't even think you can make a dent in it. Don't waste your time.
