Yes.
All the advancements we enjoy today were once considered "radical" and "against traditional values." Hell, when the printing press came out it was the "tool of the devil." You have "liberal" and "progressive" idealism to thank for practically your entire way of life as it is.
That's also why "conservatism" as such is always inherently wrong. It's no coincidence that today's conservatives rail against stem cell research, gay civil rights, even evolution theory in science class. In 50 years - god willing - we'll look back on the people who tried to hold these things back with a mixture of contempt and pity.
P.S., girl below, "suffrage" means the right to vote....lol.

The country has pretty much gone downhill since women whined enough to get the right to vote. Women should stick to nurturing and stop trying to be men.
