My mother said don't chew it so I swallowed it in spite!
But before I swallowed it I DID take note that it tasted the same as when I put it there. lol
Have a great day!!!

The flavor dissipates after you chew it for a period of time. By the time you spit it out, it has usually long since lost any flavor. If you stick it on wood and leave it overnight, you may not be able to get it loose in the morning. If you are able to, it often takes wood slivers with it.

Thats a really weird question to ask, and i'm not sure, but i know that gum either looses its flavor or its flavor changes if you let it age before taking it out of its wrapper

And your mother says don't chew it, so you swallow it in spite, and you catch it on yer tonsils, and you heave it left to right, does your chewing gum lose it's flavor on the bed post over night?

If you have a cat or dog, it may be gone. But it probably gets more flavor from flies and other bugs getting stuck on it.

Nope, the flavor leaks out when you are chewing it.
And anyhow, who has bed posts anymore?

Depends on how porous the wood is and what type of finish the bed post has. Also, is it reg gum or sugarless?
