My mom's friend went out last night after her last shot of Chemotheraly for her "breast cancer". She drank (to celebrate) about 11 mixed drinks ( rum and coke). Of course she was out of it last night (falling over, can't think straight, etc.). When my mom called her this morning to check on her she was not talking or breathing right. Mom mom said she couldn't understand what she was saying because she was mumbeling stuff and breathing really weird. Should we call an ambulance to her house. Now rememebr she just a a chemotherapy shot before she got drunk....what should we do...we can't go over there (no car)

Call her husband or a friend or neighbor to get over there and check on her.

I'm guessing your moms friend isn't too smart to mix all that alcohol with the chemicals in her body, so close to treatment.

If when you call back and talk to her she still sounds bad and if you cannot get anyone to physically go to her house and check on her, I personally would call the police or emt to go to her house.

I pray she is alright. I WOULD RUSH!!

You could call the police to go check on her. After she is sober, she should listen to the warnings about cancer and alchol. Why does she put more poison into her body?

If your mother is so worried, then why didn't she call 9-1-1?? Chemo and alcohol do NOT mix. Even if she wasn't on chemo, it sounds like she has acute alcohol posioning.
