I've used it several cycles and am currently on 250mg and still haven't gotten pg.

I took 3 months of Clomid(100 mg each) with no results. In fact it messed up my periods (which is common) and I got small cysts(which is also normal). My doctor put me on Metformin to regulate my periods and promote ovulation. I haven't gotten pregnant on it yet but it has regulated my periods. Good Luck to all ttc'ers

I got pregnant my first month on 50mg. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage. The second round took 8 months. I started out at 50mg., but by the 8th month I was up to 200mg. During my 6th month ttc, my OB also gave me HCG injections to help me ovulate. However, during my 7th month ttc, my OB did a laparoscopy to check my ovaries and tubes. He discovered that I had a mild case of endometriosis, which he removed during the procedure and I conceived the next month. I am in my 3rd month on Clomid ttc again. I have been ovulating, so I am still on 50mg. If you don't find that the Clomid is helping you to ovulate, ask your OB about HCG injections. Good luck!

Everyone is different, so it's really hard to say how long it will take for you. We tried for a year before I took chlomid. It took me 3 cycles of chlomid until I got pregnant. Keep trying, have faith, and don't think about it. When you try TOO hard is when it seems nothing happens. Good Luck - I know how frustrating it can be.

I was on clomid for a year ~ various mgs ~ I had POCS and it never did make me ovulate. But that doesn't mean you won't get pregnant ~ I wish you lots of luck and hope you get preg soon!

I took clomid 100mg for 4 months. On the fourth month we conceived our oldest daughter who is now 2.

I TOOK CLOMID FOR 6MONTHS ONCE AND IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME EITHER.
