I see most people are staing their complexion and not if you have a complex-meaning trying to be lighter or basically having a problem being the color you are.Not most folks are saying I'm not that dark(as if dark bad),I'm bronze or carmel,I think that's a complex in itself, some folks bleach their skin with Ambi or buy makeup 2 shades lighter or darker to acheive a look, now I'll take comments again. Thanks for your feedback.

i don't have a complicated. I ensue to be gentle skinned with eco-friendly eyes and curly hair. I particularly have never had to be something i'm no longer. A waste of time to be that way and except you bleach or tan your epidermis (the two certainly one of it is particularly undesirable) there is not any element in stressing over it. by using ways, college Daze did no longer initiate the full AKA/DST and which sorority you pledge in step with epidermis tone. Spike Lee basically introduced to gentle what have been the case for some years previous. The movie got here out in 1988 while i began extreme college and colorism between sororities replaced into out far until now that, particularly on the time those black sororities have been prepared, which replaced into the early 1900's. i replaced into pursued by using AKAs at my college and that they confirmed interest in me exceptionally because of the fact of ways i seem (the full financial ruin replaced into gentle skinned and does not admit absolutely everyone that replaced into no longer gentle skinned) and that replaced right into a REEEEAL turnoff! This replaced into in the south, the place i found colorism to be so plenty greater in many situations occurring than in the north (i'm from Philly). i replaced into dealt with the worst in the south by using the two black women people asserting that i presumed i replaced into "too good" or adult males basically liking me because of the fact of my complexion, eye colour, and hair texture. So i think of rather some people nonetheless have those complexes, yet i in my opinion do no longer.

I personally do not have that complex.....I would say that my skin color is somewhat a caramel shade.....I do not wear makeup 2 shades lighter than my own shade, not even 1 shade lighter.....
As a matter of fact, when I was in elementary school, my shade was darker but over the years of my approaching womanhood, I became lighter. But it's not due to any skin condition like vitiligo which is prescence of pronounced white spots on the skin----no....I do not have this type of condition. For a time, I was not even aware of my change of skin color until I bumped into one of my classmates & she even told me upfront that I was "lighter" than when we were in 6th grade & that tripped me out!! But don't get me wrong!...............I'm not giving 'bigups' to myself about this----I'm just relatin' my little life story about this subject....

Peace!************

I have light color skin, I'm between a honey and amber color. But I think skin of all color is beautiful in African Americans from the lightest to the darkest.
