Well, regardless, you're going to have a lot of research and visualizaton to do. If it were me, I'd actually start with the WWE. I'd get a listing of their CDs and the songs AND artists on them, then I'd settle down on Napster (or whatever) and not only listen to some of the songs, but actually look at the artists and their music. That way I already start with a "short" list of music and groups in the basic genre you're needing that's not influenced by any individual or personal tastes.

Another place I'd look is on the Billboard charts site http://billboard.com/bbcom/charts/chart_display.jsp?g=Singles&f=Hot+Mainstream+Rock+Tracks and look for fast movers as well as very current stuff, and again, you can check on the artists other tracks as well.

Luck!!!

Depends on what Martial Arts you have in your video...

If its Funny (Jackie Chan type) then use Kung Fu Fighting ...by Bustop featuring Carl Douglas
if its hardcore fights (Jet lee type) same song by Foo fighters
if its funny plus hardcore then use same song by Fatboy slim

If its too fast and bloody use heavy metal music like iron maiden..slayer ...megadeath...etc
Guns and Roses do have some good songs

I would say "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas for sure. Can't think of anything else.
