In charleston,does anyone know any surroundings areas of Charleston,like summerville mtpleasant ,daniels island ,somwhere around there something with low crime rate and something quiet I do have 2 kids ,and hoping the schools are good also

It really depends on where you work and stuff like that. My boyfriend lived in Mt. Pleasant and works at the Navy Weapons Station and Mt. Pleasant was high. When we moved in together we got a house in Summerville which was the same distance to work for him. I love it here. The schools are so much better for our 4 kids. Pre-k, 2,3,4 grades. We only pay 300 a more a month for our 5 bedroom home with pool compared to his 1 bedroom/ 1 sun-room appt. The crime is not bad at all. I really have not seen any crime. We live in a very quite subdivision. We love it here.

Daniel Island has a higher cost of living, as does Mt. Pleasant. Stay away from the zip code of 29403 (the highest crime area around). Summerville, James Island and West Ashley may be your best bet depending on your kids' ages.
