In order to be a pharmacist in the USA you have an approved degree and then pass a tough qualifying exam. There is one exam which is acepted by most states, but some states require that you also take a specific exam for that state.

The exam is pretty tough, and especially, it will be tough for a person who is not familiar with the drugs commonly used in the USA. On the other hand, if you were able to pass the exam, then you would be able to make a LOT of money.

I think your best bet is to get into the USA legally, then get a job as an assistant at a pharmacy, or as a trainee in a pharmacy technician job. That way you could improve your English and spend a year or two getting familiar with the way US pharmacies operate.

After two or three years you would be ready to pass the US test. Once you pass that test, then you would have a great future with high pay and excellent job security.

First you should check on line for the addresses of the Boards of Pharmacy in the states where you might be interested in working. You should write to them and request information about how you can be licensed in those states.

This is a difficult process, but it is not impossible. So you should continue on with your research.

NABP, is the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy. Try going to their website. All pharmacy foreign graduates must take first the FPGEE. This is the Foreign Pharmacy Equivalency Examination ( FPGEE). This is offered every June and December in 3 cities. The usual cities includes California, New York and Chicago. The examination fee is more than $700. You have to submit all your credentials
( see the website please)
Once you have passed the examination, you have to take an English exam, TOEFL-IBT. Once you passed the FPGEE and the English exam, a certificate of internship will be issued to you. Internship is at least 1,500 hours in most states. Interns are paid for the training. After the internship, you have to take the Licensure examination in your desired state.
Pharmacy is a very promising profession not only in the US but also in Canada and Australia.
Goodluck!

I teach English (Canada) and here you would most likely need to pass the TOEFL test to prove your English.
