It is most likely you herniated a disc in you neck, which you should get checked RIGHT away, since it could also be pressing on your spinal chord. What the disc is doing is pinching on one of the nerves exiting your spinal column. It the tingling is going down your arm and into your thumb, that is the 6th nerve root if it is going into other fingers that would be a different level. Wouldn't wait around on this one, you could get permanent nerve damage. Would go to the ER tonight.

Tingling in the limbs for no apparent reason can be a sign of diabetes. Ask your doctor for a fasting blood glucose test. Other signs of diabetes are weight gain or loss, lethargy, excessive sleeping, excessive thirst or hunger, excessive urination, and irritability.

That it's time for a doctor appointment.
What are you waiting for???
Go on, phone them NOW! Your heart could be giving out, or it could just be bad circulation, but you need to go find out. Make that appointment.
